You can upload images with following formats: JPG, PNG, BMP and GIF.

Yes. However, only registered users are allowed to make private uploads. Please register for an acccount, it's free! You can create a private album and upload images directly to it. Another option is to make your profile completely private in your profile settings. Check "Make my profile and identity totally private" and save changes.

No you don't have to. Nevertheless, registered users have more benefits.
